Mastering Mt. Borah

Add a checkmark to an item on Sam's list of "things to do someday" . . . and then burn the paper! This last weekend he climbed the highest mountain in Idaho - Mt. Borah. It was a grueling hike. He went with his two brothers, Ben and Tom, and some highschool friends; Brad and Chris Lords, Royce and Brett Davis and friends of theirs. There were 10 guys total. They drove up Friday and spent the night. With head-lamps on, they started hiking at 5:30am. By 10:30am they had reached the top. Sam got altitude sickness so they only stayed long enough to get a few pictures and start the trek back down. It only took them two hours to get back to the bottom. He says he was glad he went and had the experience but doesn't care if he ever goes again!
