Some of my kids' best questions and our funnest discussions come when they are laying in bed and we are saying our final good-night's and I love you's. This was Hansen's question tonight:"Mom, why do we celebrate St. Patrick's Day? It's kind of a weird holiday. You know what other holiday is weird? Thanksgiving. All you do is thank everybody for making dinner for you and all you eat is turkey and gravy. I'd rather have french toast sticks for every meal!"
