Track is introduced track to 4th and 5th graders in elementary school. The kids try out for different events then the top 3 from each class compete against each other for the parents to see. The top 3 winners from each event go to compete against kids from other elementary schools in the area. Braden did really well in all the events he tried out for but his best events were the long-distance runs (sprinting is NOT a strong suit in this family). He finished the school tryouts with the top 3 kids in the 200 meter, 400 meter and running long jump. When it came time to compete against kids from the other schools he wasn't as successful as he would have hoped but he finished and had a good attitude and experience. He is pictured with above with his friends that also went to compete against other schools in the area (Left to Right: Garrett, M.J., Christopher and Braden).
